Jude A. Pierre, MD received his medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, New York in 1997. Dr. Pierre performed his residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital & the Miami VA Medical Center. During his residency, Dr. Pierre also served patients at the Jackson Memorial Hospital urgent care center and at American Paraprofessional Services. Dr. Pierre's professional accomplishments include publications (with Dr. A. Fournier, and published in the Journal of the National MedicalAssociation, March 1999) and development of a computerized hospital registry at a rural hospital in Haiti (performed under the mentorship of Dr. A. Fournier and Dr. J. Lafontant). Dr. Pierre is fluent in English, Haitian Creole, and French; he is also able to communicate in basic Spanish. He is BLS, ACLS, and ATLS certified, and is a member of the American College of Physicians and the Hillsborough County Medical Society. Dr. Pierre's altruistic love of humanity has led him to serve in disaster relief efforts in Haiti. He is also on the board of Praxis International, a non-profit foundation dedicated to increasing agricultural awareness to remote Haitian locations. He enjoys playing soccer, increasing his knowledge of and experience with health care information technology, and family activities.
